Atlanta is gearing up for the return of Invest Fest, the city’s acclaimed financial conference, scheduled for August 23-25 at the Georgia World Congress Center. This year marks the fourth annual event, which has quickly become a cornerstone for financial empowerment within the Black community.
Star-studded leadership and sponsorship
The 2024 edition of Invest Fest will feature rap mogul 50 Cent as the headline speaker, taking over from last year’s host, Sean “Diddy” Combs. The event boasts a strong lineup of co-sponsors, including Steve Harvey, Matthew Garland, and Michael MacDonald, promising a blend of entertainment and insightful financial discussions.
Empowering the community through financial literacy
Founded by Troy Millings and Rashad Bilal of the Earn Your Leisure podcast, Invest Fest is more than just a conference. It’s a movement aimed at empowering the Black community with the necessary tools and knowledge for financial independence. Last year, the event attracted around 50,000 attendees, and this year, it expects to draw even more, with an estimated 60,000 participants.
According to Bilal, the conference offers valuable financial insights and is a powerful motivational and inspirational gathering akin to a spiritual pilgrimage for many attendees.
Looking ahead
With tickets priced at $250 for the three-day event, Invest Fest offers an invaluable opportunity for networking, learning, and personal growth. As the community continues to face financial challenges, events like Invest Fest provide essential platforms for dialogue, learning, and empowerment.
