Controversial rapper Ye West is up to his customary tricks, playing songs by disgraced artists during a listening party for his and Ty Dolla $ign’s new album Vultures 2 in Los Angeles.
West commandeered the deejay booth and fired off a steady succession of eclectic music from the 1980s via an aux cord. West fired off classic cuts from Prince, the Eurythmics, the Eagles and then fast-forwarded to songs from himself and former mentor and boss Jay-Z.

However, it was the moment that the College Dropout rapper played three consecutive songs by Diddy and R. Kelly that got folks’ attention, including renowned music producer Mike Hector.
“I’m at this party and kanye djing. he played 2 diddy songs and then a r kelly song right after. this n—- do not give a f—,” tweeted Hector, according to Hip Hop DX and Hot New Hip Hop. The tweet has since been deleted.
West previously made references to R. Kelly, Diddy and Bill Cosby on Vultures 1 via the single “Carnival,” where Ye raps. Despite the controversy, it nonetheless landed at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
He rapped “Anybody p—-d off, gotta make ’em drink the urine / Now I’m Ye-Kelly, b—-, now, I’m Bill Cosby, b—- / Now, I’m Puff Daddy rich, that’s #MeToo me rich.”
