Irv Gotti, the renowned music executive, has recently faced health challenges but is now on the mend. After suffering a stroke that made headlines, Gotti shared his thoughts on aging and recovery with The Shade Room.

Health recovery and family support

In a candid statement, Gotti remarked, “I’m getting older. That’s all. Only thing worse than getting old is not getting old.” He expressed gratitude for his recovery, stating, “Life is good.” Gotti has been spending quality time with his sons, Sonny and JJ, and his dogs, emphasizing the importance of family during this time.

Gotti’s health concerns were brought to light when Wack 100 claimed that he had suffered a stroke and required a cane to walk. In response, Gotti’s representative clarified that the 54-year-old experienced a minor stroke in February, attributing it to his long-standing battle with diabetes.

Positive changes and future plans

According to his representative, Gotti has made significant lifestyle changes, including adopting a healthier diet, which has contributed to his recovery.

In addition to focusing on his health, Gotti is preparing to return to work. He revealed plans to work on a DMX biopic, a project that has garnered attention. However, Tashera Simmons, DMX’s ex-wife, clarified that they are not currently collaborating with Gotti on any content related to Earl Simmons, including the biopic.

Gotti’s journey through health challenges highlights the importance of family support and personal resilience. As he continues to recover and pursue new projects, fans and followers are hopeful for his future endeavors in the music industry.
