Katt Williams whips out his linguistic sword once again as he reveals why he targeted Diddy on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast which created a cultural explosion at the top of 2024.

Williams spoke to GQ magazine for their “Man of the Year” issue and he elaborated on his rationale for taking off after Sean “Diddy” Combs like a missile right after New Year’s Day.

Why Williams wanted revenge

The Friday After Next star said he was filled with a sense of vengeance for the late legendary lyricist Tupac Shakur, though the Bad Boy boss has never been legally implicated in the All Eyez on Me rapper’s murder in 1996.

“I loved Tupac. And I felt like we were kindred spirits,” Williams said. “So, if I hear you responsible for knocking my n— off, I don’t give a f— what job I end up being in, I don’t care how things go. If I can get a way to get you, that’s what I’m all about. I just don’t like you walking around scot-free.”

The podcast episode became an instant classic and broke records with more than 83 million views, according to the prestigious publication. During the podcast created by Shannon Sharpe, an NFL Hall of Famer, Williams explained that he did the same thing as iconic comedian Dave Chappelle who turned down tens of millions at the pinnacle of his career in order to preserve his sanity.

Williams said he turned down Diddy overtures

“I’ve had to turn down $50 million four times, just to protect my integrity and that virgin hole I was telling you about,” Williams bluntly stated to Sharpe.

“Cause P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no,” Williams famously stated. “You got to tell him no! I did. See, I got the receipts for everything I’m telling you, that’s why I can say them so freely.”

Later on in the 90-minute podcast episode, Williams told Sharpe that some folks were going to be exposed and destroyed in 2024, which has come to fruition.

“All of these big d— deviants is all catching hell in 2024,” he told Sharpe. “It’s up for all of them, all lies will be exposed.”

Williams also told the magazine that he was very young when he made a specific request to God.

“I didn’t ask God to let me be in charge of no s—,” he said. “I didn’t ask him to let me run nothing. I just asked him to let me know things around the corner, before others, so that I could be the person to tell my people.”
