It was supposed to be a good final weekend of college football for Travis Hunter, but yet again his fiancée Leanna Lenee stole the headlines.
Before the Colorado men’s basketball team played Bellarmine in Boulder on Dec. 21, Hunter and Shedeur Sanders joined Colorado’s basketball team and showed off their skills and athleticism. Hunteer, being the other worldly athlete that he is, put on an absolute show. He threw up some NBA dunk contest dunks, including a super casual between-the-legs slam. Shortly after the game, Hunter was trending once again — but not about his basketball abilities.
An X user posted that Hunter’s girlfriend twerking on another man three years ago, which would have been two years into Hunter and Lenee’s relationship.
“Travis Hunter girlfriend twerking on a random guy in 2021… two years into their relationship at this point,” the user, Poetik Flakko, captioned the video.
Social media quickly confirmed that the tattoos on the woman in the video match those of Lenee, which sparked a heated debate on the platform.

After another Poetik Flakko video surfaced, in which a man claimed Lenee had been in his direct messages in late 2020 — and the debate started trending even more. According to the X post, the screenshots shows conversations that took place while Hunter had declared publicly that the two were already committed to one another. This comes after all the comments and debates that took place after Deion Sanders had to tell Lenee to stand up when Hunter won the Heisman.

Not only did X users have a lot to say, but a lot of notable celebrities started to put their two cents in — and not always respectfully, either. Just this past weekend, Bow Wow and Antonio Brown joined a long list of celebrities commenting on Hunter’s relationship. Apparently, this was too much for Hunter to bear as he deleted his Instagram afterward. As of this writing, his Instagram is still deactivated. It got so bad that Shedeur Sanders had to send out a post on X defending him.

Colorado football travels to San Antonio to play BYU in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28, and we are hoping Hunter is in a good space mentally to play in the bowl game. He is expected to be selected as a top-five pick in the 2025 NFL draft in April; this will be his final collegiate football game.
