Comedian D.L. Hughley lambasted fellow jokester Trevor Noah who questioned whether “integration” was the right thing for Americans to do.
Noah, the former host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” was speaking to a college professor, assessing how pragmatic it was to try for integration instead of remaining a segregated society.
South African Trevor Noah questions American integration

“That may be the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard,” Hughley barked while speaking with TMZ.
D.L. Hughley tires of hearing from South Africans about race
“First off, I’ve heard enough from South Africans this year,” Hughley continued, referring to the home country of Noah and billionaire Elon Musk. “Between Trevor and Elon Musk, those are two dudes that I don’t need to learn about race from … two dudes from South Africa. I’ve heard enough.”
“Black schools and HBCUs and every system that exists — you can say this about every system in America … from policing to banking to housing … every single one is inundated with White supremacy. All of it,” Hughley continued.
Hughley went on to explain that HBCUs exist as a result of the education that was denied Black folks” at PWIs — predominantly white institutions — and still operate with budgets that are far inferior to their PWI counterparts.
“Everywhere we live … in every Black neighborhood … is we were told where to live.
D.L. Hughley sees the humor and hypocrisy in the hatred of DEI
Facetiously, Hughley broached the topic of DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion), which conservatives abhor and have successfully campaigned to eradicate the practice in education, throughout corporate America, and in the federal government.
“They want integration in some places. I bet (they) want it in the Super Bowl (halftime shows),” Hughley said with sardonic humor.
