Kim Kardashian is “manifesting” her next relationship. The celebrity’s approach to attraction has become increasingly popular, with manifestation techniques growing on social media platforms in the past year.
The 44-year-old beauty – who has North, 11, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, five, with ex-husband Kanye West – has revealed that she’s renovating her Hidden Hills home with her future partner in mind. The Hidden Hills property is part of a gated community where many celebrities reside.
“I’m renovating my house and creating a space for him,” Kim explained during the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’. The show continues to be one of Hulu’s most-watched series.
Kris Jenner, Kim’s mom, then asked: “Who’s him?”
“I don’t know. Manifesting!” replied Kim – who was married to Kanye between 2014 and 2022. Their divorce was finalized after a lengthy legal process involving complex asset division and custody arrangements.
The reality TV star subsequently suggested that she’s more likely to find a new boyfriend if she renovates her home with “him” in mind. This manifestation technique, often referred to as “acting as if,” has been endorsed by numerous relationship experts and psychologists.
“I won’t be open to having a partner if I don’t build it. If you build it, he will come,” Kim said.
Kris, 69, is convinced that Kim is now eager to find love, having moved on from her past relationships. The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch has been instrumental in managing her family’s rise to fame.
“I think she’s looking for true love. She’s the best version of Kim when she’s in love,” the socialite explained. Relationship psychologists often note that personal growth can accelerate when individuals are in healthy romantic partnerships.
Earlier this year, Kim revealed that she has “a list” of dating must-haves. This approach to dating with clear criteria has been shown to increase relationship satisfaction according to several relationship studies.
The SKIMS founder admitted to being very particular about who she dates, with Kim even revealing one of her dating “red flags”. Her shapewear company SKIMS has cemented her status as a successful entrepreneur.
“My absolute red flag is just when someone doesn’t treat other people – even when no one is watching – with respect. No matter who they are, what they do,” Kim – who dated comedian Pete Davidson following her split from Kanye – said on ‘World’s First Podcast’. The couple dated for nine months before ending their relationship in August 2022.
Kim – who was also married to sports star Kris Humphries between 2011 and 2013 – acknowledged that she’s looking for a “very secure person,” too. Her marriage to Humphries lasted just 72 days, making it one of Hollywood’s shortest celebrity marriages.
Asked what she’s looking for in a future partner, she replied: “How long do you have? They have to really understand my life and be OK with that. They’re going to have to understand my kids, and their background, and where they came from.” Co-parenting experts often note that successful blended families require partners who fully embrace children from previous relationships.
“It must not be easy coming into my life. They have to be a very secure person. I want our morals and values to really align,” she continued. Relationship therapists consistently identify shared values as one of the strongest predictors of long-term relationship success.
Kim’s dating life has been highly publicized since her rise to fame, with her relationships often featured prominently in media coverage. Celebrity dating trends often influence mainstream dating culture.
As one of the most followed people on social media with millions of Instagram followers, Kim’s dating preferences and relationship philosophy reach a vast audience. Manifestation techniques like those Kim employs have seen a surge in popularity in recent years.
Industry insiders suggest that Kim’s openness about her dating life and future relationship goals resonates with many fans who appreciate her authenticity despite her celebrity status.
