One of the men suspected in the shooting death of rapper Sayso P on March 22 in downtown Memphis, Tenn., has been found dead.
The Memphis Police Department incident report states that Jayden Dandridge, 21, was killed in Houston, about a 560-mile drive from Memphis, or about nine hours.

The police did not provide any details about how or why Dandridge was in Houston, where he is originally from, and how he ended up deceased.
The other suspect, identified by Memphis police as 22-year-old Kevin Brown, is the subject of a police manhunt. He has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property $10,000-$60,000.
Police raced to the Westin Hotel in downtown Memphis at about 2:30 p.m. after reports of shots being fired just outside the campus. They found Sayso P mortally wounded in the street just off the curb of the hotel. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The second rapper, Sauce Walka, was also shot and rushed to the Regional One Health medical center. Sauce, 34, whose real name is Albert Mondane, was listed in critical condition but he was later downgraded to stable.
Because the two suspects drove up to the two rappers standing on the curb, fired the shots, and quickly fled the scene, authorities don’t believe it was a random attack.
“This appears to be a targeted shooting incident,” the Memphis Police Department told Fox 13 on March 22.
The father of Sauce Walka, Albert Walker, told CBS Houston, “had it not been for God, my son would’ve been dead.”
Sauce is best known for the regional hits “Texas Cyclone” and “Where Was You At.” He also collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion on the track “Southside Royalty Freestyle” and with Travis Scott on the single, “Money Counter.” Sayso P had been one of Sauce’s artists who was signed to his independent label when he was attacked.
