A federal bankruptcy judge has authorized music and movie magnate 50 Cent to seize the home of a former employee who stole more than $2 million from his company.

Mitchell Green, who was an executive with Sire Spirits owned by 50 Cent, owes the rapper $7 million following a conviction on fraud, according to AllHipHop. The judge is allowing 50’s company to enforce a lien on Green’s expansive home in Westport, Conn., which is about 50 miles northeast of New York.

A judge found 50 Cent’s former employee of stealing millions

In September 2021, Fifty’s Sire Spirits filed a lawsuit against Green, accusing him of taking $2.2 million in under-the-table kickbacks from 2018-2020. In October of 2022, the court found Green guilty of being liable to Sire Spirits for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and unjust enrichment.

Now, Green owes Fifty $7 million. And since Green has failed to reconcile that colossal debt, the judge has authorized the “Power” and “BMF” creator to take Green’s home to help recoup some of the money.

Fifty was already confident that he was going to get Green’s home after the court case concluded, joking to his 34 million Instagram fans back in 2023. “I think I’m gonna put Epoxy floors in this place,” he wrote in the caption, according to Complex magazine. “I’m gonna keep it and his family pictures around, you know as a theme for the place. LOL.”

After the judge handed Fifty a favorable judgment, 50 Cent returned to IG to further flame Green, who is already humiliated and broke. On March 15, Fifty shared a blog post and is quoted as saying, “I need you out my house by Monday.”

This is, of course, part of Fifty’s modus operandi of publicly shaming folks who have borrowed from him and demanding his money by the first workday of the week.

Fifty commanded that “Power” producer Randall Emmet who 50 claimed owed him $1 million. Fans remember that Fifty did the same thing with “Power” actor Rotimi, Jackie Long and Bow Wow. And, of course, Fifty most famously terrorized singer Teairra Mari, whom he told multiple times on Instagram that he needed his “money by Monday” after she lost in her lawsuit against him.
