Former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day has been sharing her thoughts on the Diddy sex trafficking trial for “E! News.”

O’Day, who rose to fame in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ reality TV show “Making the Band 3” on MTV 20 years ago, shared her hopes that the disgraced Bad Boy boss will be held accountable for the countless lives that he impacted or destroyed.

Aubrey O’Day gives her idea of justice

“Justice for me in this setting … I would like to see all of the crimes that I know are true, for him to serve time for all of those, personally,” Aubrey said. “Professionally, I would like the prosecution to have done such an incredible job that nobody had any questions right now. I would like to see a world in which they really connected the dots. I’d like to see them really bring home the charges that they indicted him for.”

Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The trial is currently deliberation phase after the defense decided not to present a case and both sides conducted their closing arguments. Diddy was dissuaded from taking the stand to provide any testimony in his defense.

Many had expected Aubrey O’Day to testify

Many court observers had expected O’Day to take the stand, especially after her former bandmate, Dawn Richard, took the stand. But O’Day told the host of “E! News” that she was all too happy to sit this one out.

“I don’t wish for things like testifying in a federal trial,” she said. “I wish for inner peace and a really good boba tea. This wouldn’t be a situation in which I’m meant to speak in because these are specific crimes.”

Aubrey O’Day was asked to consider the unthinkable

O’Day was asked about the outcome and the possibility that Diddy could walk away a free man if he is exonerated on all the charges.

“I don’t have that in the range of my thoughts right now. I don’t believe that would happen,” she said, then half-jokingly added, “If it does happen, then I’d buy a ticket to Bali like the last time I couldn’t f–k with this country anymore.”

Elaborating, O’Day said if Diddy were to walk free, she said she’d be fear “the messaging that we’d be giving to any newcomers into the industry. I would be scared of the messaging that this would give people about relationships and behaviors, about what you can get away with when you’re powerful.

Finally, O’Day surmised, “I mean, if he were to walk free, he’s coming after everybody.”

Even though Diddy’s own defense attorney tried to paint Diddy as simply a swinger with a violent temper, O’Day hopes that the prosecution successfully portrayed Diddy as the leader of a criminal enterprise, at the very least.
