Twitter reacts to Ashanti’s good hair comment
During a recent sit-down with Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club,”
Ashanti made note that she has “good hair” because of its softness and abundance.
“I have nice hair, I ain’t even gon’ lie,” said Ashanti when asked about her sideburns that were shown in her “Foolish” video.
“So you know, when you have good hair, you’re hairy. You got sideburns. Some people love sideburns. So this is what I thought. On TV, on film and in pictures, it looks a little different [laughs] but when you [are] looking in the mirror … you know, you’re gelling it down, you know it’s soft,” she added to Angela Yee, DJ Envy and Charlemagne Tha God.
“But on film and on camera, it may look a little different… it looks a little funny… So [now] I just make sure they look good on film, and on camera, and in person.”
When fans caught wind of her silly inference that softer hair is “good,” they quickly took to Twitter to air out their grievances with the Braveheart chanteuse.
