Magic Johnson gives 5 keys to success at Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference 2013

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Since his retirement as one of the 10 greatest players of all time, former NBA superstar Earvin “Magic” Johnson has accrued more wealth, more fame and more respect in business than he did as the revolutionary point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers that won five championships in eight title game appearances in 10 years during the 1980s.

Johnson, who is worth in access of $600 million, sports a vast business portfolio that includes real estate and private equity funds, a foodservice and facilities-management company, 17 radio stations, the new television network Aspire, a staffing company and interests in a number of other ventures. He is also one of the owners of Los Angeles Dodgers.
