Republicans are still suffering from Mitt Romney’s thumping by the hands of President Barack Obama. According to an article written by my colleague Terry Shropshire, angry Republicans in 15 states are considering the irrational notion of seceding from the Union. Similar decisions and the election proved that the Republican Party is out of touch with most of Americans and on the verge of becoming irrelevant. But it takes several major bad choices for a political party to look so bad.
