It’s been more than a year since Halle Berry and her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, went head-to-head in court in a nasty custody battle over their daughter, Nahla. And although things between the celebrity exes seem to have ben peaceful since then, Berry recently accused Aubrey of stealing her child support checks for himself.
According to TMZ, Berry claims that Aubry, who is a top male model, has stopped working and is abusing the system by living solely off Berry’s child support checks, which amount to $16,000 a month.
According to Models.com, although Aubry is still listed as a “Top Icon,” he only had one major campaign this year with Barneys alongside Tyson Beckford.
Despite his lack of work this year, Berry actress alleges that Aubry is more than capable of landing modeling jobs and that he needs to work to help provide a comfy life for their 6-year-old daughter.
In order to cut Aubry off, Berry recently asked a judge in their custody case to reduce her child support payments from $16,000 a month to a little over $3,000.
Aubry has yet to comment on the case, but we expect another drawn out legal battle between the bitter exes. –nicholas robinson
