“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and Grammy-winning songstress Kandi Burress is officially engaged to Tucker, her rep confirmed to people.com.
Burress, 36, and Line producer Todd Tucker, who makes spot appearances on this season of the Bravo-based show, met while on the set of the RHOA during it’s fourth season.
Burress, arguably the most well-liked cast member and undoubtedly the show’s most multitalented star, as well as entrepreneur, is long known in music and Atlanta circles for the better part of 20 years. She was a member of the multiplatinum 90’s girl group Xcape, penning some of their hits, and also wrote Billboard-topping smash hits for a bevy of A-list artists, including TLC’s hit “No Scrubs,” Destiny Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills” and Pink‘s “There You Go.” In addition to her musical career and sex-toy product line, Burress is slated to star in her own show, The Kandi Factory, where she searches for the next big pop star talent.
Burruss has a daughter Riley, 11, from a previous relationship. She was previously engaged A.J. Jewell until 2009, shortly before he was killed during a violent melee outside the Body Tap gentlemen’s club.
