Keyshia Cole apologizes to Michelle Williams
Two singers who’ve been feuding for months are seemingly placing their beef behind them. Keyshia Cole took to Twitter this weekend to issue an apology to Michelle Williams who previously tried to squash her issue with the singer in an interview.
“I don’t even do Twitter beef,” Williams explained on Huffington Post Live. “I can’t wait to see [Keyshia Cole] in person so we can talk and say ‘Hey, what happened?’”
Williams went on to say that she admired Cole, at least prior to their falling out in February after Williams’ Super Bowl performance.
After obviously catching wind of Williams’ comments, Keyshia Cole took to Twitter to issue an apology but with a twist. Cole admitted to being angry and took responsibility for her actions but then asked Williams to admit to writing a diss about her online.
Shortly after news broke that Cole said Williams was “f— the groove up” during Destiny Childs’ comeback performance, a tweet seemingly from Williams’ twitter account was released that read, “@KeyshiaCole I’m Destiny’s Child and you are Frankie’s Child… You do the math.”
The diss poked fun at Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie who has long struggled with addiction.
“So can you admit to erasing the tweet that you said about me?”, asked Cole this weekend after apologizing to the singer.
Williams has yet to respond to Cole’s request for a confession.
