When NeNe Leakes announced this weekend that she was quitting “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” after 7 seasons on the show, she also hinted to her fans that she had major role lined up on primetime TV show with a Hollywood legend. And now it’s been revealed that Leakes will star alongside Betty White in a reboot of a classic game show.
According to TMZ, ABC is rebooting the hit 60s game show “To Tell The Truth” for their new primetime TV schedule.
In the show, Leakes, White and a third panelist will be introduced to three contestants who will try to convince them that they invented or created something. Only one of the contestants is telling the truth and it’s up to the panelists to decide who’s telling the truth and which two contestants are lying.
Although the third panelist has yet to be announced, it’s been revealed that Anthony Anderson will serve as the host of the show.
This is a major move for Leakes, who has wanted to leave reality TV for greener pastures in the world of primetime TV and film. However, rumros have been circulating this week that Leakes will still serve as a guest star on “RHOA” while working on “To Tell The Truth.”
But is the rumor true? Find out what Leakes had to say about it after the cut.
