Fans of “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada gave fans a shock a few weeks ago when the fiery reality star announced via her Twitter page that she wouldn’t be doing any more reality television. And while many have been wondering if Lozada will return for the fourth season of “Basketball Wives,” Lozada’s co-star and the show’s executive producer, Shaunie O’Neal, recently stopped by “The Wendy Williams Show” to discuss Lozada’s future on “Basketball Wives.”
“I know the rumors that Evelyn is not coming back. I talked to Evelyn, she has not said those words to me,” said O’Neal to Williams. “You know, we’re just supporting her and whatever she does. With or without a show, Evelyn is my girl and always has been. We have a very longtime relationship and I love her death.”
While chatting with the talk show queen, O’Neal also discussed rumors of Lozada’s alleged pregnancy with fiancé Chad Ochocino.
“No, she’s not pregnant. She wants to get married first and they’re getting married this coming summer and then babies are to follow, from what she tells me,” said O’Neal.
Though Lozada is expected to return to the hit VH1 series, O’Neal shared that ostracized co-star Meeka Claxton will likely not return for the new season, news which prompted Williams’ audience to cheer wildly.
“I haven’t talked to Meeka, I don’t talk to Meeka. But from the production side it doesn’t look like Meeka will be coming back,” said O’Neal.
While it doesn’t seem like many fans are going to miss Claxton’s never-ending squabbles with the “Basketball Wives” elite inner circle, it’s obvious that the inner circle just wouldn’t be complete without the presence of Lozada.
