Singers turned actresses Brandy Norwood and Jordin Sparks stepped out in style at the annual 365Black Awards, sponsored by McDonald’s during the 2013 Essence Music Festival. They were joined by honoree Gladys Knight, Latavia Roberson, comedian Kim Whitley and Taraji P. Henson, who served as the host of the 10th annual 365Black Awards held at to the New Orleans Theater at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The Awards honor and celebrate people who have made an impact on African American culture and in their communities through both business and charitable enterprises.
