Rihanna’s first Puma ad has landed. While most of Instagram is taking part in #ThrowbackThursday, the sportswear brand gave us a glimpse of something to look forward to in the near future: their latest collaboration with one of today’s biggest style icons, RiRi.
Yesterday, the popular brand shared their latest Forever Faster campaign ad, featuring the bad gal decked out in head-to-toe Puma gear, sporting a visor, crop top, leggings, and sweater tied around her tiny waist, paired with their new Pulse XT sneaker.
“An icon who does it all needs a shoe that can keep up. Introducing the Pulse XT, worn by @badgalriri. #ForeverFaster,” read the caption.
As previously reported, on Dec.14, 2014, Rihanna revealed via Instagram that she had reached a multiyear deal with the German sportswear company as their new creative director and brand ambassador. Puma chief executive Bjørn Gulden commented on signing on the dotted line with RiRi. “Market research shows that Rihanna, although she’s not an athlete, is an icon for our main target group,” Gulden said during an interview. “She is putting strength to the brand in an era when we need it.”
The Barbadian beauty joins fellow brand ambassadors Meek Mill and Usain Bolt in the new Forever Faster brand, and its tagline “Calling All Troublemakers” seems pretty fitting for our bad gal.
