Why did everything having to do with the X-Men superheroes turn into essentially stories centered around the Wolverine character, whom we all know fights with unbreakable metal claws? In the run of the comic book featuring the classic line-up including Wolverine and weather-wielding Storm, the man was an abhorrent psychopath known for gutting bad guys in moments of bloody savagery. Here, he’s the leader of the X-Men in an hour of animation about the mutants and their bigoted human foes. Basically, Marvel Entertainment, Inc. is stretching out with respectable kids’ entertainment, no more, no less.
