Producer J.J. Abrams reveals the identities of some of the key players invading Star Wars: The Force Awakens, via old-fashioned trading cards. In 1977, the first collection of Star Wars Topps trading cards were unveiled, quickly becoming all the rage for collectors and fans alike. In light of the holiday season, we can see why Abrams would hit us with a blast from the past as only a handful of the collectors cards are being released at this time.
Eight cards have been released to start, including the Stormtrooper Finn, played by John Boyega, reports EW.com.
