Hip-hop and basketball have always intertwined with each other. Similar to the NBA, hip-hop has a competitive streak and often sparks barbershop conversations on who is the best. Kendrick Lamar’s highly discussed verse on the song “Control” inspired most of today’s rappers to consider how they rank against their peers.
