R&B singer Anita Baker is being sued for $15,000 by her house painters. Ray A. Smith Painting & Decorating allege that Baker failed to pay for work done at her Michigan home. Baker has not commented on the matter.
On another note, Baker is facing several financial issues, including liens for $465,733 in unpaid federal taxes, $15,952 in unpaid state taxes and $3,470 owed to a window company.
Baker is set to release a new album soon, so hopefully, she will make enough money to pay off her debts.
Lamar Odom Hires Kris Jenner as Manager
NBA Lakers star Lamar Odom has hired his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, as his new manager.
“Kris and Lamar’s first project together will be his and Khloe’s fragrance, which is set to launch next year,” said Odom’s rep.
Jenner will be responsible for keeping track of Odom’s appearances, personal marketing activities and publicity.
The Kardashians really do run a family business now. Hopefully there won’t be any issues with Odom having a “momager” now.
Tyler Perry Cancels Madea’s Big Happy Family
Tyler Perry has canceled the remaining dates for his hit stage play, Madea’s Big Happy Family. Perry is exhausted and in a letter to fans stated that he is exhausted from doing,“125 performances in 126 days last spring, and doing two movies back-to-back this summer, then coming right back on tour and doing another 30 performances in as many days.”
Perry thanked the fans that have come out so far to support the play. Those who have purchased tickets for future shows will have their money refunded.

The lovely Eva Longoria Parker now has a wax figure of herself courtesy of Madam Tussauds. Longoria Parker revealed her doppelganger on Oct. 14 in Las Vegas at her nightclub, Eve. Parker posed next to her wax figure in a ravishing red dress like her new mini me.
