Nearly overnight, Beyoncé’s once heralded performance of the national anthem at President Obama’s second inauguration has gone from a thing of praise to a thing of scrutiny as it was recently alleged that she lip-synced to a pre-recorded track of the song.
Although the debate over whether or not Beyoncé actually sang at the inauguration is still ongoing, if she did indeed lip-sync, she certainly isn’t the first singer to do so at a major event.
