1990s nostalgia has become so trendy.

As the generation that grew up on Cross Colours, Zima and “Martin” moves into their 30s and 40s, the music and culture of the Clinton years is being revisited more often. Even younger artists like Drake and Ciara seem to have a fetish for that era. And why not? The 90s featured some of the best produced and written material the genre has ever offered; not to mention a plethora of acts that hold a tremendous amount of influence over what’s being heard today.


So in that spirit, we decided to take a look at the best R&B albums of that strange and wonderful decade …we apologize in advance to H-Town, All-4-One and Color Me Badd fans.
