Celebrity real estate: Tax lien placed on Mary J. Blige's home

Mary J. Blige was recently hit with a $901,769.65 tax lien in New Jersey, where she owns a super mansion.  Blige is also being sued by Bank of America for not paying back a $500,000 loan she took out in 2002.  Blige is slashing the price tag on her Saddle River home ,which includes plenty of room for entertaining and relaxing, including an indoor movie theater, fitness center, gourmet kitchen and eight bedrooms. The R&B diva has had the home listed for sale since 2011, dropping from an original asking price of $14 million to its current price at $12.5 million. Blige paid cash and bought the 18,250-square-foot mansion in 2008 with her music producer husband, Kendu Isaacs. The couple is said to have paid cash for the home, however, the property taxes run nearly $100,000 a year.
