Earlier today, we reported that Drizzy Drake dropped the first video cut from his latest mixtape If You’re Reading This You’re Already Too Late. In the video, titled “Energy,” the 29-year-old recording artist impersonated some of Hollywood’s biggest celebs and public figures, including “legendary” Mayor Ford, Miley Cyrus, O.J. Simpson, Kanye West and Oprah Winfrey.
NBA baller LeBron James, Larry Flynt, boxing champ Floyd Mayweather, President Barack Obama, Justin Bieber and Leonardo DiCaprio were also featured (impersonated by Drake). And while we think the video is pretty genius, fans aren’t feeling it. Not that Drake pokes fun at these celebrities in the video. It’s the fact that Drizzy donned whiteface in order to truly embody stars like Cyrus that is rubbing some the wrong way.
One user tweeted,

Do I even need to comment on Drake doing white face? Can we stop pretending to be different races to make fun of people for some reason — Megan Kennedy (@BrodyxDean) July 10, 2015
