Jay Z and Beyoncé to perform at Grammys
Jay Z and Beyoncé might get fans “drunk in love” when the couple takes the stage Sunday for a performance at the 2014 Grammys. Organizers for the 56th annual awards show confirmed Jan. 20 that the power couple will join the lengthy lineup of performers that includes Daft Punk, Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar with Imagine Dragons, Pink and Nate Ruess of Fun. The Carters will take the stage during the first hour of the program.
Beyoncé is up for only one Grammy this year, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Part II: On The Run” with her husband. Her visual album dropped after Grammy nominations were announced.
Jay, however, leads the pack of Grammy nominations with nine, including Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album.
The 56th annual Grammy Awards featuring Jay Z and Beyoncé will air this Sunday, Jan. 26, at 8 EST on CBS.
