Jay-Z and Beyoncé Invited to Perform at Prince William’s Wedding

People the world over know of married megastars Jay-Z and Beyoncé as hip-hop and R&B royalty, and fittingly, the musical pair are expected to perform at the upcoming royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

According to dailystar.co.uk, the future British rulers have asked Jay-Z and Beyoncé to perform their 2003 hit song “Crazy in Love” at their wedding reception.

“Both William and Kate are massive fans of Beyoncé and Jay-Z,” said the source. “They really wanted to make their big day even more special and what better way than by getting pop  royalty to perform at the party?”

The source also says that despite Prince Williams pristine royal heritage, the couple wanted to break away from tradition and shake things up with their reception.

“Will and Kate will have an official reception for hundreds of dignitaries before throwing a less formal bash for loved ones,” said the source. “They both wanted to ditch traditions and make it more personal for them,” Adding, “Jay-Z and Beyoncé are both in Europe at the moment while she promotes her new single, ‘Girls Who Run The World.’ So it’s highly likely they have taken up the Royals’ offer. After all, who would turn down a once-in-a- lifetime gig like that?”

The Palace has neither confirmed nor denied the performance but the rumor is flying around Columbia Records that Beyoncé and Jay-Z will soon give word to Buckingham Palace to confirm their performance.

What do you think of a possible performance by Jay-Z and Beyoncé at the royal reception?
