If any star is having the worst week ever it’s certainly R&B bad boy Chris Brown. After being arrested for assaulting a fan earlier this week, Brown is now facing misdemeanor assault charges and a parole violation for his previous Rihanna assault case that could land him in jail for the next four years. Although it was recently revealed that Brown will be seeking professional help for his anger management issues in a rehab center, fellow celebrity, hot head Lil Mo recently offered some constructive criticism and advice for Brown.
In an interview with Sister 2 Sister, Mo said that Brown’s problem is the people around him and that he needs to cut ties with any bad apples in his bunch.
“I consider other artists my co-workers. I really want Chris Brown to be delivered. I think he can bounce back,” said Mo, who then questioned how Brown’s crew even allowed the assaulted fan to get near him. “How are they getting that close?”
“It’s always something,” Mo said. “Why are people able to cross that line with him?”
However, Mo then claimed that Brown and his whole crew should go down swinging in unified fashion if another fight breaks out.
“You fight, your girl better throw ‘bows, too,” she said. “If I go down, everybody that’s with me better catch that L and that fade with me.”
Mo reiterated that Brown should surround himself with genuine people to help him stay out of trouble.
“I’m really praying for that situation,” she said. “He needs his mama back around him. You need the people that really love and care for you.”
Former boxing bad boy Mike Tyson also recently spoke on Brown’s troubles, seemed to be the most empathetic towards Brown’s life, and offered up the soundest advice for the singer.
