For the last year hip-hop’s current queen, Nicki Minaj, has thrived under the wing of her manager, hip-hop mogul, Diddy. However, the Young Money emcee has now reportedly parted ways with Diddy and James Cruz, citing lack of proper attention from the busy Bad Boy businessman.
According to xxlmag.com, a source claimed that Nicki assumed that Diddy would take a very hands-on approach when it came to her career, but was disappointed to find that the Diddy-Dirty Money star was investing less time and energy than expected, forcing her to move on.
Minaj is now being managed by Gee Roberson and Kyambo “Hip Hop” Joshua of Hip-Hop Since 1978, which also manages the careers of Young Jeezy, Just Blaze, Drake and Young Money CEO Lil Wayne.
Although they’re no longer working together, the source claims that there are no hard feelings between Minaj, Diddy and Cruz.
Minaj originally signed with Diddy after abruptly parting ways with Debra Antney, CEO of So Icey/Mizay Entertainment (and Waka Flocka Flame’s mother), last April.
