Powerhouse 2012 brought some of today’s most popular emerging acts to Los Angeles for a show they’ll never forget.
Power 106 and their annual summer hip hop festival, Powerhouse 2012, took over Anaheim’s Honda Center this past weekend, bringing performances from the likes of Kid Ink, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Young Jeezy, Kendrick Lamar, Young Jeezy, J. Cole, Tyga and YG. However, Power 106 had a few surprises as well.
Jeezy brought out Ne-Yo, E-40, and Too Short during his set; and T.I. took down the house, and offered a guest appearance from Grand Hustle artist Iggy Azalea. Snoop Dogg enlisted newcomers Nipsey Hussle and YG to make appearances, while rap vets like Tha Dogg Pound and E-40 also joined in on the fun. Tyga surprised his hometown crowd by bringing out his boss, Lil Wayne, for his set.
