Bronx-born hip-hop star Fat Joe was sentenced to four months in prison back in August for tax evasion, and the rapper surprised everyone this week when he came home a few weeks early. Joe was released from prison in Miami’s Federal Detention Center just in time to enjoy Thanksgiving with his family. DJ Nasty posted on Instagram that “Joey Crack” was home.
Former music manager James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was sentenced to life in prison yesterday (Oct. 25th) following his June 2012 conviction on 13 federal charges. The former Fugee served her time at the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, a minimum security facility.
