‘Basketball Wives L.A.’ season 3

On Monday, Feb. 17, there will be two distinct actions taking place in millions of American homes. One will be that of people turning to VH1 for the new season of “Basketball Wives” and the other will be of those making a point to briskly change the channel. Shed Media’s controversial reality show will return, much to the dismay of teeth-sucking deep thinkers who’ve labeled it demeaning and a promotion a low-class lifestyle of gold digging, plate throwing and promiscuity with wealthy athletes.

If you’re frivolous enough not to care or just looking for a tacky release from real life for 60 minutes every Monday, continue reading below.

This season of “Basketball Wives L.A.” will bring back the show’s standout, Draya Michele, who despite being labeled a “negligent mother” and party girl is apparently so magnetic she pretty much carries the show. Also on hand will be the very bizarre Jackie Christie and the resident “goody two shoes” Malaysia Pargo. Gone are the Govans, Laura and Gloria, buxom beauty Brooke Bailey and Bambi, who’s set her sights on Lil Scrappy and “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.”

Full of tears and more than a few catfights (of course), below are five things to expect on this upcoming season of “Basketball Wives L.A.”

Note: This season should be renamed the “The Draya Michele Show.” –danielle canada
