NeNe Leakes blasts Cynthia Bailey
It looks like NeNe Leakes’ friendship with Cynthia Bailey is past the point of reconciliation now that Leakes has blasted her former friend in lengthy Instagram posts. During Sunday’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion viewers watched as the ex-best friends canned their friendship. A very defiant Leakes shut down Bailey and urged her cast mates not to comment because their issues were “none of their business.”
“If Cynthia wants to have a private conversation with me, then she can,” said the housewife.
All the while Leakes was being contrite, Bailey told host Andy Cohen that she wants her friend to “respect her.” In particular she expressed that she felt hurt by her friend’s blog posts that often blast her.
“I don’t even know at this point if she’s even aware of how she can just be shady, just not friendly, not inviting. I read her blog and she’s like going in on me,” said Bailey. “If you say anything slightly to NeNe, she feels attacked and she just goes in.
“If you say something about me, I’m not going to my blog and Twitter and address it. I’m going to say, ‘Hey, NeNe. Let’s talk.’ You don’t have to go on your blog and throw shade,” she added.
At one point she also brought up the infamous moment that Leakes called Peter Thomas a “b—-” and insisted that if the tables were turned, things would be different.
“If I would’ve said ‘Gregg you’re acting a little b—- right now’ in front of all these girls, we wouldn’t be having this conversation right now,” said Bailey. “I don’t think there’s nothing [sic] you would’ve been able to say.”
All the while the show was airing, an angry Leakes, who may or may not be a toxic friend, was on social media lambasting her bestie-turned-foe.

Leakes used Instagram to write a very lengthy caption blasting Bailey before exposing a text message from her ex-friend talking about setting up the “acting like a b—” scene and admitting to not being able to call Gregg Leakes the b-word. The scene was apparently reversed and Leakes used the inflammatory word against Peter Thomas. The post proves not only that the scene was fake but that Bailey knew in advance what would transpire.
Leakes has since deleted her Instagram posts, but you can see them both below.
