NeNe Leakes blames Kenya Moore for the ‘RHOA’ brawl
After last night’s explosive episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” several of the show’s stars are attempting to explain their role in the melee. NeNe Leakes penned a lengthy blog explaining how a simple adult slumber party turned into an MMA-style brawl.
As previously reported, Apollo Nida viciously assaulted Kenya Moore’s assistant during what looked like a NeNe Leakes’-instigated fight. Moore was seen attempting to confront actor Christopher Williams and his wife before things quickly spiraled out of control.
And while many people are wondering why Leakes put such a volatile group of people together, Leakes says she was simply attempting to “build unity” between the show’s couples.
“My intentions were to build couple unity within the group but as you can see, things got turnt [sic] all the way up!” wrote Leakes.
“You ask why? Everybody in the room were [sic] asked questions that were touchy because that was the bases [sic] of the game! We all answered including me and Gregg. We really had fun with it contrary to what you thought you saw and I stress “what you thought you saw” there are always intentions for these parties or group gatherings which is totally out of my control!” she added.
Leakes then noted that things took a turn for the worse when Kenya Moore arrived three hours late and was the “spark” that lit the fire. According to her Kenya is to blame for the fight.
“I can’t control adults and it’s not my fault if adults decide to fight on their own! In my opinion Kenya was the spark that lite [sic] the fire. Whenever she’s around, we have the worst times!” wrote Leakes.
Leakes also noted that in all her years of being a member of the “RHOA” cast, this is the first time she’s seen violence. Interestingly enough, Leakes was previously accused by Kim Zolciak of choking her after they had a disagreement on the program. There was also a hair-pulling incident between Sheree Whitfield and Kim Zolciak that Leakes was in the middle of.
“I’ve been on this show from the very beginning and we have NEVER had a physical altercation on this show! I’am [sic] all about a good read, throwing shade & even getting you together when need be but violence is never ok to me,” wrote Leakes.
“I think it’s a sad display of behavior and I think it is sad to the black community to be apart of such negative activity!
“I’am [sic] bigger, i’am [sic] better and for that I apologize!”
So far fans aren’t buying her explanation and are continuing to blame her for instigating the drama.
