Ever since news broke that Porsha Williams attacked Kenya Moore during the recent taping of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion, rumors have been spreading that Williams, who was already on the chopping block with producers, will likely be fired for her violent outburst. And although Moore definitely wants to see Williams get the boot, a new report claims that the other cast members are banding together to protect Williams.
According to TMZ, sources claim that the cast, sans Moore, has banded together and are telling producers that if they fire Williams then they’ll walk away from the show. The sources say that the plan was initially hatched this past weekend at Kandi Burruss’ wedding and all of the ladies have jumped on board, except, of course, Moore.
The sources say that the contracts for all of the ladies have been put on hold until the producers figure out what to do about Williams’ attack on Moore. However, it’s reported that all of the ladies have told the producers how much they despise Moore, and Leakes and Phaedra Parks are allegedly leading the charge to get Moore fired from the show instead of Williams.
We doubt that producers will fire Moore from the show considering how much attention-grabbing drama she brings to the show. But it will be interesting to see if the report is true and if the ladies’ unified effort can save Williams’ job. –nicholas robinson
