For years, Beyoncé has reigned supreme as the pop world’s biggest artist, topping charts across the world and selling out tours in nearly every country as well. Now, the global superstar has reached even bigger heights as it’s been announced that she’s the highest-earning black artist of all time.

According to Billboard, via MTV, thanks to her recent “Ms. Carter World Tour,” Beyoncé has surpassed the likes of Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and Prince, to become the highest-earning black artist ever.

Billboard reports that Beyoncé took home $212 million during her year-long world tour, which sold 1.8 million tickets across 126 tour dates. According to the site, Beyoncé earned $41 million alone just by touring for 25 dates in Europe from February to March.

And although Beyoncé isn’t yet the richest black artist of all time, she’s set to earn even more money this year when she goes on tour with her super rich husband, Jay Z, during their “On The Run” tour.

Well, if it wasn’t completely obvious before, Beyoncé is definitely set to go down as one of the richest and most influential artists, whether black, white, tan or purple, of all time. –nicholas robinson
