Adrian Peterson to wed Ashley Brown
NFLer Adrian Peterson is reportedly marrying his college sweetheart after years of dating. Peterson, who’s believed to have been engaged since 2010, is reportedly now ready to wed Ashley Brown, the woman he met at the University of Oklahoma in 2o04. In 2006, Peterson was named to the Playboy All-American team and posed alongside several other college football players at the time for the mag. Peterson can be seen below in his Oklahoma Sooners uniform.
Coincidentally, the woman he’s now planning to marry posed for the mag the very next month in Playboy‘s “Girls of the Big 12″ issue as an Oklahoma coed. The pictures, which are tasteful, show a nude Brown carefully covered by a shower loofa and a large towel. Neither Peterson nor his wife -to-be have commented on the photos, which have been readily available on the Web for years.
Before today’s Playboy news Peterson was in headlines for his stellar football performance Sunday. The Minnesota Viking ran for 212 yards that day, his fourth career 200-yard game.
