Amar’e Stoudemire’s wife is pregnant
After wedding in early December Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife Alexis Welch are confirming news that they’re expecting. As previously reported Stoudemire, 30, wed Welch on December 12 during a rooftop NYC ceremony.
And now according to the Stoudemires who have been dating since 2002, their fourth baby will be born in spring 2013. “We’re blessed that we were able to extend our family,” the New York Knick told PEOPLE. “We’re both huge on having a nice size family. It was something we’ve been talking about for a while. It happened naturally and at the right time so it all worked out.”
“It was just perfect timing,” added Alexis, 29, who says she’s had some morning sickness but overall, “can’t complain!” The duo’s other children; Ar’e, 7,Amar’e Jr., 6, and Assata, 4 — are reportedly “thrilled” for the impending arrival.
Before wedding Welch Stoudemire was linked to Amber Rose in 2010 and Ciara in 2011.
