It seems like every year after a season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ends, NeNe Leakes claims that she’s unsure if she’s going to come back to the show. And although we’ve come to expect the usual wishy-washy comments from her about a possible departure, Leakes had some interesting and not so nice comments about her cast mates in a recent interview about next season.
In a new interview with “Extra,” Leakes claimed, once again, “I don’t know if I’ll return or not, I don’t know.”
She then explained that her return for season 8 depends on whether or not some of her cast mates will get the boot by producers.
“I will return, however, if some of the other girls leave the show, because the show’s called the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ There are a lot of women on the show this season who are single, they’re not moms, they’re not married, not dating,” Leakes said.
She then took her critique of her cast mates a step further and called some of them “gold diggers.”
“I’d love to see a single woman on the show that’s dating, [I] think that’s great, and fun to have that girl that’s looking for love, but we have too many girls that are looking for money instead of love, so I like to find a girl that’s looking for love, really wants to find a husband. I feel like we have a bunch of gold diggers on the show, so it’d be great if we found somebody really looking for love,” Leakes said.
Well, if there’s one thing you can expect from Mrs. Leakes besides a threat about leaving “RHOA,” it’s a shady comment about her cast mates.
