This duo from Atlanta, made up of Chyle MC and SaVannah Jones, has put down a dozen tracks on a CD ranging from downright snappy to nigh unendurable. Using proper beats, the two find a distinct sound such as with “Lie” and the hypnotic “Rollin,” both produced by Jamma Wun. A look at the CD’s one-word titles suggests that the act could stand thematic growth. Overall, Breakroom shows great potential. –forrest green III
