High Hopes

Coming from the creative team of writers Cecily Gambrell and Colby Kane with director Joe Eckardt, High Hopes delivers laughs nonstop. Aspiring filmmaker Tom Murphy and his crew hope to make it into the world class league of cinema. The bunch plans to capitalize on Tom’s relationship with his celebrity girlfriend by starring her in their first film, but she dumps him instead. Tom and company decide to pilfer a case of government issued marijuana, and return it to the FBI, using the reward money to finance their flick. The oddball film’s cast includes Edward Furlong, Danny Trejo and writer-director Robert Rodriguez. – forrest green III
