Music mogul Jay-Z continues to make headlines as he blasted auto-tunes and singing rappers on his debut single from his Blueprint 3 album that was released Friday, June 5. Produced by Kanye West and No I.D., Hova’s new single “DOA (Death of Auto-Tune)” is the first track from the auto-tune-free album that will be released Sept. 11, 2009 on Roc Nation. Auto-tune is the process of a singer having their voice aided in a studio by a computer program that automatically corrects their voice if they hit a wrong note. The official radio single will be titled “Off That” and features new rap sensation Drake. -soul goddess
