Visit a Hollywood red carpet, and you might find yourself rubbing elbows with comedic actor Niecy Nash. Star of “Clean House” and “Reno 911,” Nash sure has a lot to talk about these days. When rolling out bumped into Nash, who was strolling into a recent Alvin Ailey performance in Los Angeles, the star wanted to discuss more than just her budding career.
“Let me first say that I’m excited about the return of ‘Clean House’ as well as ‘Reno 911,’ she said. “It’s really a blessing to continue to have the phone ring with opportunities to work and do things that you love. It’s not something that I take for granted, so I’m just enjoying the moment.”
Nash’s enjoyment aside, she’s also mindful that she has to not only provide for, but also set a good example for her children while simultaneously trekking out into the dating world. As a divorced mother of three, it’s not always easy, but Nash continues to learn the ropes as she goes.
“My kids are great,” she gushes. “You hear mothers say that they have the best kids in the world all the time, but I believe it. They have been great during this process, and I will continue to work hard and set a good example for them. As far as dating goes, it can be hard out there for a mother of three. I just always remind myself to be the best version of myself so I can attract light and get that good loving when the time comes.” –djr
