Actor Gary Coleman Hospitalized After Possible Seizure

gary colemanAccording to “Entertainment Tonight’s” news desk, Gary coleman was hospitalized earliy Thursday morning, Jan. 7. A rep for the actor says that he was in Los Angeles doing promotional work for Midgets vs. Mascots, which is described on its Web site as a “Borat-meets-Jackass shockumentary,” when he said that he wasn’t feeling well.

TMZ reports that a friend of the actor says Coleman “was sitting on a bed when he had what looked like a seizure and was foggy when asked questions like ‘what month is it?’ ” An ambulance was summoned shortly thereafter.

His reps say the former child star has checked out fine but needs to remain hospitalized for precautionary measures.

Coleman found fame as Arnold Jackson, appearing on “Diff’rent Strokes” from 1978 – 1986. He’s fought a well-publicized battle with the kidney disease nephritis and has had two kidney transplants (1973, 1984).
