Amber Rose Says Wiz Khalifa Isn’t a Downgrade From Kanye West

Since the beginning of their high-profile relationship, Amber Rose has endured criticism concerning her current love affair with hip-hop’s rising star, Wiz Khalifa. And although the tabloids say he’ll never match up to Rose’s former boyfriend, Kanye West, Rose claims in a recent interview that Wiz is far from a downgrade from West.

“There’s no comparison in personalities,” said Rose in the cover feature of the latest KING magazine. “You know when people say how do you go from Kanye to Wiz Khalifa, that’s a downgrade. But the only question I can ask them is: Have you ever dated Kanye? Because I have, and believe me, I did not downgrade at all. Not in any aspect, at all.”

Considering Rose’s implication that there maybe a downside to dating the “Monster”rapper, it’s understandable that after the demise of their relationship, Rose swore off dating musicians.

However, she explains that she and Wiz initially started out as Twitter friends and after exchanging phone numbers, she planned to give him a pair of her company’s sunglasses because they share the same home state, Pennsylvania. And after meeting during a workout session, the two became nearly inseparable.

“I chilled with him for two weeks,” said Rose. “We didn’t kiss or nothing. Then he left for Pittsburgh and when he left I was so lost without him.”

Rose says that it didn’t take long for the two to realize that they were falling in love and that she wanted to take their relationship to the next level.

“We just talked on the phone constantly, and that’s when we realized we were really falling for each other. And I was like, when this young boy gets back from Pittsburgh, he is definitely getting some.”

What do you think of Rose and Wiz’s relationship? Do you think he’s a downgrade?
