Breaking News: Eddie Long’s 5th Accuser Revealed

Investigative reporter Dale Russell of Atlanta’s Fox 5 I-Team revealed on the July 27 6 p.m. broadcast that Bishop Eddie Long had a fifth accuser in his sexual misconduct case. The accuser never filed a lawsuit and his name was kept a secret, but the settlement negotiations revealed the individual as Centino Kemp. Russell has been tracking this story for several months and met Kemp at a small Atlanta recording studio.

Kemp, sometimes known as Centinio, is almost 22 years old and was raised in the Bahamas. According to Russell’s report, Kemp met Long years ago while a student at a Florida college. Now a recording artist in Atlanta, Kemp is recording an album titled No Regrets. Some of the songs are written from the perspective of a jilted, angry lover. Kemp was happy to speak to Russell about his music, but not his relationship with Long. Kemp still has Eddie Long’s name tattooed on his inner wrist with the words “Always a Lesson, Never a Mistake.”

Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church recently settled a sexual misconduct scandal involving four young men, each accusing Long of having sexual contact with them. The case was settled in May for an undisclosed amount of money. Long allegedly lavished the young men with trips, gifts and money. Long denied the allegations in court papers. Once settled, Long issued a statement saying that it was time to move on.

Although his name was never made public, Kemp played a significant role in the mediation process.
