'Basketball Wives' Shake Up; Evelyn Lozada Out?

“Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada has been a fan favorite with audiences ever since the show debuted in 2010. And after three seasons of grand slam fights, an entertaining on-screen love affair with fiancé Chad Ochocinco and even coining a wildly popular catch-phrase (“non-motherf—ing factor b–ch”), Lozada may soon be calling it quits on her “Basketball Wives” run.

On Sept. 7, Lozada made a brief announcement on Twitter, revealing that she may delete her Twitter account and that she won’t be doing any more reality television.

“Just wanted to say that I won’t be on Twitter for a while. Going 2 possibly delete my account & I won’t be signing on 2 do anymore shows,” tweeted Lozada, adding, “Excuse typos 🙁 Goodnight RT I really thank you all for all of your support! I truly love of the people that have stuck by me! #ImOut”

Though never explicitly saying she was leaving Basketball Wives, which is currently filming its fourth season, it’s widely assumed that Lozada won’t be returning to the popular reality show.

Shortly after Lozada’s Twitter announcement, TMZ reported that sources close to the star are saying that Lozada decided to walk away from the show on Sept. 6, after VH1 posted a blog entry insinuating that Lozado may have cheated on Ochocinco with his former teammate and fellow VH1 reality star, Terrell Owens.

Though VH1 decided to delete the blog post, Lozada, who denied the claim of infidelity, is still steadfast about exiting  the show, said the sources. They also claim that Lozada will now focus her attention on other career opportunities and her upcoming wedding with Ochocinco.

Stay tuned as the story is sure to continue to develop. –nicholas robinson
